Top Ten Tuesday is a weekly blog feature hosted by the awesome people at
The Broke and the Bookish
I LOVE sharing books so this is a fun post!!! I just wish I had the money to buy them all for loved ones!!
- The Hunger Games By Suzanne Collins
I would love to give this to quite a few people for its wonderfulness. I'm gonna pick my cousin though, I think he would LOVE them
- Divergent By Veronica Roth
Once again I loved this and I know loads of people that would love this too. I'm going to pick my Mum for this one.
- Delirium By Lauren Oliver
I've actually given this as a gift already and the person (my Aunt) adored it
- Across The Universe By Beth Revis
This was a beautiful book. I think I would give it to my brother as he liked Twilight and he likes sci fi, so this is the perfect mix
- Harry Potter books By J K Rowling
I'd give these to my Dad - he reads no where near enough and if these books can't captivate a reader then nothing will
- Paranormalcy By Kiersten White
The lead character in this is SO Buffy like, but does it in her own way. I'd give this to any Buffy, although I can't think of any that haven't already read it
I'm hanging my head in shame because I'm a huge Buffy fan and yet have not read Paranormalcy yet. BUT to be fair, it's sitting on my shelf!
ReplyDeleteGreat list! HP has made a lot of them (and for good reason)
I've read all your picks - except Divergent - and totally agree that they're awesome. I better get to Divergent quick because I've heard so many good things.
ReplyDeleteDivergent is a brilliant book - and I absolutely LOVED it. It's definitely my favorite read of 2011.
ReplyDeleteAnd of course, Harry Potter will always be something I'd want to give as a gift! I love the series, the movies, pretty much anything Harry Potter :)
